Gite Entrance
On the door of the gite I wrote a sentence that sums up my thinking and that I hope could also be that of pilgrims as they walk.
What if, whenever possible, building eco-friendly and eating organic were part of the way forward?
Sheltered under the terrace, the entrance to the gite includes a backpack storage room. Hikers used to moving from one accommodation to another will appreciate this setup, which reduces the risk, for them as well as for me, of encountering bedbugs ... the only unwanted guests on the trail.
They will also notice the construction methods that were considered from the very beginning.

Epicerie
In our lodge we have a small epicerie where you can buy products for your own cooking. We provide noudles, rice, vegetables,, cheese, ham, etc.
Why are we an eco-lodge?
- We pay close attention to low water and energy consumption. That is why we have two dry toilets and one flush toilet.
- Wastewater from the bathroom and toilet is treated entirely biologically on our property.
- During renovation and insulation, we chose sustainable materials.
- In the bathroom and hallways, timer switches prevent lights from being left on too long.
- Plants and animals (chickens, goats, horses) on our property are watered and supplied exclusively with rainwater.
- When selecting our products, we place great importance on ecological compatibility and sustainability.
- For hot water generation, we use a solar thermal system.
